The Big Rose Garden🌹
Kodaikanal Rose Garden built on 12 acres. It is bigger than what you’ve expected. Ultimately, it is bigger than the Ooty Government Rose garden as that is 9 Acres in total. Tamilnadu Government owns Kodaikanal Rose Garden. In 2018, the Mega Kodaikanal Rose Garden🌹 was open to the public. With this in mind, we have very few flowers that were groomed currently in 2020. From time to time it’ll grow up very quickly.
Truly this is for Photography Lovers
We went on a dry day in October. Most of the flowers🌹 are so dull, even though we’re so much excited seeing the size of the Rose Garden. We can’t walk all over the places as this is that much big. We went to most of the areas. Also, We never shut the camera and Mobile from taking photos. Finally, we almost spent 3 hours coming out of the Kodaikanal Rose Garden.
Rose Garden is Right Place for Flower 🌼 Lover
The moment we entered the garden🏡, the smell of roses is engaging us. There are a variety of roses you have never seen that much before. Especially some flowers are large than both of your hands. The grass, Drip Tape water method, Monkeys around there and much more makes your day better😎. You can’t end taking all the photos of your loved images as the roses are planted all over 10KMs. On the other hand, employees👷 here are higher in the count to maintain the gardens clean and secure.
A Small History of Rose Garden Kodaikanal
The Govt in 2016 sanctioned 9 Crores to develop the Rose garden on 13 acres like the one is available in Ooty. They planned to have 1 lakh plants in the rose garden. Initially, the Department of Horticulture🌱 has spent over 4 Crores on infrastructure, Digital ticket systems, walls and more. In the next phase, they completed everything else and planted 1500+ varieties of flowers🌼. Equally important, the restrooms were well and clean. From time to time they planted more plants and introduced the Horse ride, Battery car🚗 travel, Tan Hoda(Cool Drinks🥤 and Snacks🍔) and more.
Battery Car 🚗
The Battery car will help you to roam all around the garden and will be charged ₹30 for a person. Usually, the electric battery car suggested to those who are not feeling well to walk and older people. The Electric Battery Car will ride around 15-30 minutes for ₹30.
