Brief History About Bryant Park Kodaikanal

Situated on the eastern side of the Man-Made Kodai Lake, Bryant Park is one of the most visited tourist places in Kodaikanal. It is best known as 🌿 Botanical Garden by tourists. Covering over 20.5 Acre, Bryant Park is the biggest 😮 botanical park in Kodaikanal. A Forest officer named H.D. Bryant from Madurai developed the park in 1908. After him, the park called Bryant Park. Now, the park is managed by Horticulture Department.

There are 1000s of rose varieties, shrubs, cactus and trees that planted years ago add more attraction to Bryant Park. With this in mind, you can visit Bryant Park around the summertime as the flowers will be in full bloom. So, we prefer you to have a visit in April, May and June. Flower shows 💐 organized in May month, which will be an additional feature for the tourists visiting that time. Horticulture Department will arrange the show.
