1. Silver Cascade Waterfalls

Silver cascade falls situated near the Kodaikanal entry check post and 9 KM away from Kodai Lake. The falls will make you fall in love with it at first sight. The falls is 180Feet in height which adds additional beauty to it. It is very near to the road. And that makes the falls is visible to everyone who goes to Kodaikanal. It is 2 steps cascaded fall. You can’t bath here. Only you can enjoy the beauty of the falls.

2. Vattakanal Waterfalls Kodaikanal

From the Kodaikanal Township Reservoir, the water goes via Fairy falls, Liril falls and give a beautiful origin to Vattakanal Waterfalls. The Vattakanal Waterfalls is small in size but surrounded by trees hence no stopping for enjoyment and sightseeing. Also, trekking is available in Dolphin Nose point, which is very near to the Vattakanal Waterfalls. Of Course, one must try the trekking experience who planned to visit the Vattakanal Waterfalls.

3. Kumbakarai Falls

The only waterfall in Kodaikanal was invented to enjoy bathing and get free massages for tourists. Kumbakarai Waterfalls is 80KM away from Kodaikanal Lake. However, this place is worth visiting as it is situated inside the forest. Falls will be open from 8 AM to 4 PM. For the best experience, try visiting around 1 PM. No Food stalls are near. It is safe for Ladies and family.

4. Thalaiyar Waterfalls

Thalaiyar Waterfalls resides in Devadanapatti Village in the Dindugal district of Tamilnadu. It is also known as Rat Tail falls as it looks like a white Rat’s tail. It is the Tallest Pony Shape Waterfall in Asia. Dum Dum Rock point is the right place to view the beauty of the entire Thalaiyar falls. On the other side, the Thalaiyar river settles at Manjalar Dam. Trekking to the Thalaiyar waterfalls needs permission from Forest Department.

5. Liril Falls

Liril falls emerged from Kodaikanal Township Reservior near Kodaikanal Solar Observatory and comes through the Fairy waterfalls. It is 2.5KM away from the Kodaikanal Lake or bus stand. So, you can book a call taxi, bus or auto-rickshaw to reach the falls. The falls will attract Kids all the time. Liril waterfall is always open. It is not advisable to bathe there since it is a small fall. Maybe Kids can enjoy playing around the water. But be careful with the kids.

6. Bear Shola Waterfalls Kodaikanal

Bear Shola waterfall is a small waterfall that is active on a rainy time. The surroundings are pretty and green. It’s the best place for photography and gets out of the crowd. You can see the Clean, Chill and freshwater dropping out from the falls. It is 2 KM away from Kodaikanal Lake. Wrapped with the dense forest with the beautiful pieces of music from birds, Bear Shola falls is must visit place for the one who loves Jungles.

7. Fairy Falls

Fairy Falls in Kodaikanal is situated after the Liril Falls. A Small seasonal fall has the ring road to explore the falls on a rainy day. You can spend up to 20 minutes here enjoying the small fall view and taking photographs. Fairy falls opens from 9 AM to 6 PM. It is the root falls for Liril falls, Vattakanal Waterfalls and Kumbakarai Falls 😊.

8. Polur Waterfalls Kodaikanal

Polur falls is located in Kilavarai Village, Kodaikanal. It comes under the Poondi Panchayat. The camera is the must be wanted thing to carry when you, visiting these impressive falls. It is the right place for enjoying lonely in the middle of the forest, which has plenty of plants and a home for the animals. It is recommended for wildlife lovers. You need to walk for at least 500Meter to reach the falls.

9. Anju Veedu Water Falls – Elephant Valley Waterfalls Kodaikanal
