Green Valley View Point Kodaikanal
Green Valley formerly called Suicide Point of Kodaikanal. It has an incredible view 😲 of hills, plains and cliffs ⛰️. The History – Unbelievable Myth
The name formed Suicide point as the serious of unexpected deaths or suicides happening here. From time to time, the enchanting🧚♀️ view of the Vaigai Dam and a lot of Cliffs view from the top, earned the tourists attention. As the tourists’ visits are high, the Govt officials make this place one of the Tourist Spots in Kodaikanal. So that the name also evolved from Suicide point to Green Valley by govt.
Another Myth story from the local people is, On the one hand, there lived a mother and child. They went to enjoy the view of the place and unfortunately split on the hills and died both of them”.
On the other hand, there are two people who committed suicide from the top of that place. Later on, two locals went to bring their bodies back to the top. According to the locals, those two people says the following statement. “Nighttime we heard the sound of mother and baby crying. At some point, the weight increased for the corpse while getting back to the top with it.” These statements make listeners scared😨.
