You must experience the visit by travelling on the toy train.

2. Kodaikanal – Top Hill Stations in Tamilnadu

Man-Made 💪 Star Shaped Kodaikanal Lake, Green Valley viewpoint and Pine forest are the best things in Kodai. You can spend a minimum of 2 full days exploring the entire Kodaikanal. It is one of the best and budget Honeymoon places for many Indian 🇮🇳 couples. We encourage you to travel from September end to March beginning. Bike 🏍️ Ride to Kodaikanal from Palani will create mesmerizing moments.

3. Velliangiri Hills

Velliangiri Hills is a trekking 🥾 place. It comes under the border of Coimbatore and Palakkad. At the top of the Velliangiri, people will worship the lord shiva. There are seven peaks in the entire Velliangiri Hills. It is the best place for those who love Trekking. With this in mind, you should buy a bamboo 🎋 stick that will be helpful for the entire trip. It takes around 8 hours to climb the hills. Another key point is you should keep at least 3-5 Litres of drinking water.

4. Kolli Hills⚠️ – Mountains of Death

Kolli Hills is retaining the name of India’s highest number of Hair Pin bends. The riders call it Mountain of Death. Of course, this is the most dangerous ☠️ hill station in India but will give you the best memories of your life. 70 Hair Pin bends take at least 3 hours to climb the complete hill. In other words, the place is very calm and peaceful. You can ride all the time. But we suggest you plan for chasing the hairpin bends in the winter season.

5. Yercaud – Hill Stations in Tamilnadu

Yercaud is a hill station in the Salem district of Tamil Nadu. The chillness 🥶 of the entire hill station makes this place so popular. Yercaud is often called the poor man’s Ooty. It is 30KM away from its district Salem. Usually, the weather condition will fall below 20° C. 32 KM Loop Road 🛣️ is a must-try in Yercaud which reveals the beauty of Yercaud.

6. Anamalai Hills – Valparai

The first thing to remember Anamalai is known as Elephant Mountains (Anai + Malai) or Anaimalai. It shares its entire range in TN and KL. Valparai, Aliyar, Thirumoorthy Hills, Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary, Anamalai Tiger🐅 Reserve are the main places covered under the Anamalai Hillstation in Tamilnadu. Anamalai is 2695M in height from sea level. Another key point is Masaniamman Temple in Anamalai is one of the famous temples that come under the Anamalai Hills range.

7. Megamalai ☁️ – High Wavy Mountains

Megamalai also is recognised as the High Wavy Mountains in the Theni district. It is also a part of Western Ghats. The Megamalai Wildlife🐢 Sanctuary mostly planted with tea. There are not many tourism places available as it isn’t an official sightseeing tourism place. For this reason, there will not be a crowd. So you can explore with peace if you’re a nature lover.

8. Sirumalai – Hidden Gem for Riders

Sirumalai comes under the Eastern Ghats. Notably, this is the last mountain ⛰️ range of Eastern Ghats. It is a region of 60,000 acres of land and a reserved forest area. It is the best place for riders. 33 KM away from the Dindigul district. The hills have 18 hairpin bends. Whenever you plan for a Hills ride, choose the bike always to feel all the nature.

9. Kotagiri – Home of Tribe People

Kotagiri is a taluk comes under The Nilgiris. It is a very peaceful and quiet place than the Ooty. Kotagiri is 30KM away from Ooty. Kota means a Kota tribe of people. Trekkers 🥾 choose to climb from Kotagiri to Kodanad. The double-cascaded Catherine waterfall⛴️ is the best thing to try when you’re in Kotagiri.

10. Yelagiri – Hill Station in Tamilnadu

Yelagiri is the hill station that comes under the newly formed Tirupattur district. Forest 🏞️ Hills, Lakes and Temples are must-try when you’re in the Yelagiri. Murugan Temple is also known as Velavan temple is very near to the Yelagiri lake. Different from Temples, Jalagamparai Falls also an important place to visit in the Yelagiri hill station in Tamilnadu.  Once upon a time, the entire Yelagiri was the private property of the Yelagiri Zamindar family.

You Missed out on Manjolai Manimuthar and Kudaraketti Oothu in Tirunelveli, Thalavadi and Thiganarai in Erode District Kalarayan malai and Madeswaran Malai in Salem, Small villages around Gobichettypalayam and Balamore in Nagarkoil…Eventhough some of these are in reserve forest there are public transport from all the district Headquarters…Like buses ply from Tirunelveli,Salem Gobichettypalayam Satyamangalam Mettur and Nagarkoil to these places…
