As we said, it’ll be around 50KM travel from Theni and, we recommend you to choose a Bike or Car to enjoy with this hidden gem. There is a bus facility to Cumbum and Kumily from Theni, but you can’t reach your entire destination through the bus, as you’ve to go into the wild at least 4 KMs. So go with your bike or car to enter the exact place of the Eighteenth Canal.

About Eighteenth Canal Waterflow

On the average rainfall year, October and November, the water flow will be high or full. From November to February, the water flow will be slightly low from high levels. On other days it’ll be open occasionally based on the Eighteenth Canal Dam water status.
