1. Thanjai Periya Kovil

2. Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple – Temples in Tamilnadu

Kulasekara Pandya built the temple of Madurai Meenakshi Goddess of Madurai in the years 1190-1216. The temple receives about 22,000 devotees a day. The total income of the temple is about 60 million rupees a year. It was once nominated for the Seven New Wonders of the World. It has more than 30000 sculptures inside the temple. The Arulmigu Subramania Swamy Temple in Thiruchendur is dedicated to Lord Murugan. This is the second home of Arupadai Veedu for Lord Murugan. This is 40KM away from Thoothukudi. It is located in the Bay of Bengal. The temple is open from 5 AM to 9 PM.
